"Katie hicks ins in bigfork mt was notified nov 11 2025 by mail that we were canceling our ins only because we found a independent agent in kalispell mt, katie called me and expressed her sadness that we were canceling our ins(auto,home owners,umbrella,motor home policys).we recieved bills dec 2025,jan 2026,feb 2026, which i paid because they wereon a state farm credit card just to protect our credit score.i had no choice but to cancel the credit card to stop them continuing to charge for ins which was canceled 4 mths prior we called kat and were told that she gave our account to another employee when talking to the new person i was told she was working on it in feb 2026.ihad to call the ins comissioner to file a claim as we had not recieved any refunds for ins policys that we had canceled 4 mths prior.the ins comissioner did a investigated and we recieved some refunds .after paying for ins for 3 mths i had file fraud charges on the credit card as we did not authorize the charges us bank cc investigated and i was sent a letter saying the charges were not legitamate and refunded us the charges.as of may 9 2026 we are still recieving bills from state farm when we talked to katie about the charges she she sent our account to whitefish agent as we retained one policy on my wifes suplemental ins,she said to talk to the agent she was no longer involved but the bills that we were recieving were ccd to katie not the new agent as he knew nothing about the dispute with bigfork agent.we are still recieving bills from state farm 6 months after cancelling the above policys.WE NEED TO STOP THIS HARRASMENT I HOWEVER SEE NO END TO IT"

"Jeff, we have responded multiple times via mail, multiple calls, and texts. There is nothing further to discuss. Once again, you are receiving bills from State Farm corporate , not my office, for the time you owe before your cancellation.. which you disputed with State Farm billing and the commissioner, but it is owed since you had coverage during that time. I’m sorry this is happening to you, but you will be billed with any company for time that you have coverage with them ."

"Never in a million years did I think walking into an insurance office could feel like home—but that’s exactly what you get here. The Bigfork team is incredibly devoted to the community, and everyone is genuinely kind, welcoming… and yes, they even laugh at my bad jokes. It's just fun to stop in and say hi, drink some coffee and raid their snacks. Seriously, love Katie and her whole crew! Warm fuzzies aside, what really matters is how they show up when things go sideways. Our family was in a car accident in October, and our previous agent completely dropped the ball—calls weren’t returned, things were confusing, and honestly, it felt stressful and uncertain. One call to Katie Hicks’ office changed everything. I spoke with Cat, and from that moment on, we were taken care of. They walked us through every step, answered every question, and made a tough situation feel manageable. "Julie was freaking amazing to work with. I was so stressed about about getting car insurance for my teen and she emailed me and got me a even cheaper rate than the website and im just so very pleased with how easy everything went. I went from being stressed to so so happy and relieved. Honestly, this year I want to get my 3 other vehicles switched over to State Farm after all the great help from Julie today.
